PowerSync Cloud — battery and EV charging control
Hosted Tesla and FoxESS battery automations block exports during negative pricing, maximise exports during wholesale spikes, and sync supported tariffs. The $7 plan adds Tesla vehicle smart charging or compatible OCPP 1.6-J charger control using measured Tesla or FoxESS surplus — no Home Assistant required.
Negative pricing? Not your problem.
The cloud polls Amber every 5 minutes, aligned to the NEM dispatch boundary. When export prices go negative, PowerSync blocks export so you stop paying the grid to take your solar.

Cash in when wholesale spikes.
When the AEMO wholesale price for your NEM region exceeds your threshold (default $3000/MWh = $3.00/kWh), PowerSync uploads a synthetic high-sell-rate tariff to your Powerwall — switching it to autonomous mode and aggressively exporting through the spike. When prices normalise, your original tariff is restored automatically.

- Polls AEMO once per minute, all five NEM regions (NSW1, QLD1, VIC1, SA1, TAS1)
- 2-tick hysteresis prevents flapping at the threshold boundary

Choose your controls
Set battery thresholds and, when enabled, charging mode, current limits, charge target and Ready By time.
You're done

Add Repository
Open HACS in Home Assistant, click the menu, and select Custom repositories. Add the repo URL as an Integration.
